According to Beijing on December 22, Chinese General Administration of Customs data released Monday showed that Chinese imports of cotton in November to 76,134 tons, representing a 25% decline in the same period last year. China Jan-Nov cotton imports 1,940,000 tons for the same period last year fell 9.1 percent. China is the world’s largest importer of cotton, most of the supply comes from the United States, Uzbekistan and Australia-producing countries.
