To promote export of Afghan carpets in the German Agency for Technical Cooperation and the United States Agency for International Development under the auspices of the Afghan Export Promotion Bureau will participate in the group in mid-January this year in Germany the second session of the International Carpet Fair, when, from various parts of Afghanistan of the more than 2000 square meters of carpet colors and varieties will be on display.

Afghan carpets are the most important export products. Ah carpet industry employed about 600 million, mainly distributed in the eastern and western 12 provinces. Afghanistan in 2007, participated in the first session of the International Carpet Exhibition, the carpets are sold to the world the first time in more than 80 countries. The country’s carpet industry hopes that this exhibition can achieve similar success.
